Aarya 2 has now placed as the number one grosser in 2010 with excellent opening from the day of releasing till today. Aaray 2 collected 67 lacks from 3 days in 65 centers. Aarya 2 thrown out the hit of 2010 family entertainer Happy Husbands, Mammooty's Drona, and his Yugapurushan.
Aarya 2 also replaced Ajith's ASAL, which was released on the same of A2's releasing.

Most of the theater owners were not interested in showing A2 instead of the movies DRONA and HAPPY HUSBANDS, but now the situation changed, now in most of the theaters there is a terrific rush for the tickets and also for booking.
